Clean, well-maintained cottage with charming features. Equipped kitchen, peaceful location. Nearby pub and natural surroundings. Cozy sitting room with a real fire. Comfortable main bedroom.

The cottage was well-maintained and clean, with a charming rear garden. The location was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to truly relax. The character of the cottage, including squeaky doors and low beams, added to its charm.

We did face some challenges during our stay. They continuously sent automated messages that did not address our concerns or questions.

Me and my friends had a blast staying here. The cottage was clean and cozy, with a cute little garden. We loved chilling in the peaceful hamlet and checking out the ancient pub nearby. Plus, there were two golf clubs close by - Westgate and Birchington, and Boughton - so we had plenty of activities to keep us entertained.

The only thing we wished for was a better party scene. It would have been awesome if there was a nearby club or bar where we could dance the night away.

The room at Host & Stay - Bere Cottage in Canterbury was cozy and inviting, perfect for a long business trip. I loved the warm and comfortable atmosphere, it made me feel right at home.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the small size of the bathroom. But hey, some people might actually prefer it that way!

Stayed in a charming 18th-century cottage with a cozy fireplace. The surrounding area had lots to offer, and the free WiFi was a bonus.

Who needs clear descriptions? It's always a thrilling surprise to discover that one bedroom leads straight into another.

The cottage had such a chill vibe and it was in the perfect location. We were so close to Westgate and Birchington Golf Club and Boughton Golf Club. It was like a dream come true for us golf fanatics. We had the best time playing golf all day and partying all night. It was lit!

The only thing we wished for was a little more nightlife nearby. We had so much energy and wanted to dance the night away after our golf adventures.

During my recent transit in Canterbury, I chose to stay at Host & Stay - Bere Cottage. The database provided excellent information about the hotel, including its convenient location. I appreciated that the nearest airport was only 42 km away, making it a great choice for travelers like me. the fact that Sandwich Railway Station was just 22 km from the property made it easy for me to explore the area using public transportation.

While my stay at Host & Stay - Bere Cottage was generally pleasant, there were a few minor drawbacks. The database had mentioned that the driveway was difficult to access due to an overgrown hedge, which proved to be true.

We recently stayed at Host & Stay - Bere Cottage and had a wonderful experience. the cottage is located in a charming village with a fantastic pub just across the road. We loved the cosy sitting room with its real fire, perfect for warming up during our December visit. the main bedroom was spacious and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the cottage itself was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. the highlight for us was the proximity to Westbere marshes and lake, which provided beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😄

We had a fantastic stay at Bere Cottage in Canterbury. The cottage itself was a charming 18th-century gem, complete with a cozy fireplace that added a touch of warmth and ambiance to our evenings. The free WiFi was a lifesaver, allowing us to stay connected and share our wonderful experiences with friends and family back home. The location was perfect, with the Westgate and Birchington Golf Club and Boughton Golf Club nearby, perfect for any avid golfer looking to hit the links. And for those looking for some wild adventures, Howletts Wild Animal Park and Wingham Wildlife Park were just a short distance away. Bere Cottage provided us with a memorable and comfortable stay.

    Customer service could be improved.

This old cottage was a total gem! It was incredibly clean, even with a few countryside spider webs. The rear garden was absolutely lovely and it was so peaceful and quiet. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Yes, there were some squeaky doors, steep stairs, and low beams, but that just added to the charm of the place. The location was perfect, situated in a picturesque village with a fantastic pub right across the street. We also loved being close to Westbere marshes and lake. The sitting room was cozy with a real fire, and the main bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Despite being December, the cottage was warm and cozy. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and delightful stay. Plus, the wi-fi, free parking, cookware, and cots were all extra bonuses. And a big thank you for being pet-free and non-smoking! It was the perfect vacation spot!
